Welcome to our Nexus 10 tablet page. The Google Nexus 10 was announced via the web at the end of October 2012.
Manufactured by Samsung it features a snappy dual core processor, leading high res screen and of course the latest version of Android!
The Nexus 10 is clearly a competitor to the Apple iPad, and a very good one at that. It actually wins out on a number of technical comparisons and of course links up to Google’s superior cloud ecosystem.
Where can I buy a Nexus 10?
The first generation Nexus 10 has been available to buy in the UK through the Google Play site since November 13th 2012. It is currently only really available through the official store. You might find it elsewhere but probably for a higher price.
Alternatively, ebay is probably a good bet if looking for a cut price Nexus 10.

Why Buy a Nexus 10?
Tablet computing has taken the world by storm, whilst there was always going to be a strong demand for these little portable PCs I don’t think anyone realised just how quickly they would take market share away from the traditional computer market.
The Nexus 10 is a quality device running the latest Android release from Google. Whilst Android has traditionally taken second place in the mobile operating system race many now argue that it has marched firmly ahead of its rivals in terms of usability, looks and customisation potential.
The Nexus 10 offers significantly more screen space when compared to a smaller 7″ model such as the Nexus 7. However there is a big trade off in portability. The 10″ tablets won’t fit in a pocket, they aren’t as easy to manipulate on a crowded commuter train and can be heavy to hold for long periods.
Nexus 10 FAQ
Welcome to the Nexus 10 FAQ, this page contains all the common question that people are asking about the new Nexus 10 from Google. We’ve picked up questions from our forum and our Twitter follows and posted up the answers below.
If you’ve got a question that isn’t covered, then please do get in touch. Our goal is to build the most comprehensive tablet FAQ on the web.
Who makes the Nexus 10?
The tablet is made my Korean electronics giant Samsung, a company that Google has successfully partnered with on several occasions before. With Google’s design input and Samsung’s winning technology this was always going to be a hit.
Surely I should just buy an iPad?
The Nexus 10 is on a par with the 4th gen iPad, yet it costs half the price. I believe iOS is looking tired, both Android and Win 8 are pressing ahead with interactive home screens that deliver content right to you. Not convinced? No worries, go buy one here.
When was the Nexus 10 released?
November 13th 2012, along with the Nexus 4 phone and the 3G version of the Nexus 7.
Which version of Android does the 10″ Nexus run?
It was shipped with Jelly Bean 4.2, but one of the big advantages of going with Nexus brand is that you’ll get updates delivered directly to you as soon as they are available. By the time you read this, it may well be on a later version!
